Katy Perry Vanity Fair Magazine June 2011

Katy Perry Vanity Fair Magazine Pictures

Katy Perry purrs on the cover of the June 2011 issue of Vanity Fair Magazine. Between the covers of the style mag, the “Teenage Dream” singer speaks out for the first time — albeit cryptically — about a tell-all book her preacher mother, Mary Hudson, is shopping about her and reveals the differences between hers and her parents’ way of thinking.

The “Teenage Dream” singer blames her strict Christian upbringing at the hands of her evangelical-minister parents of robbing her of a normal childhood.

“I didn’t have a childhood,” Katy told VF, adding that she was not allowed to say things like “deviled eggs” or “Dirt Devil,” to listen to secular music or read books besides the Bible during her years of maturation in California. “Growing up, seeing Planned Parenthood, it was considered like the abortion clinic. I was always scared I was going to get bombed when I was there … I didn’t know it was more than that, that it was for women and their needs. I didn’t have insurance, so I went there and I learned about birth control.”

Perry credits her husband, actor Russell Brand, with opening her mind even more.

“I come from a very non-accepting family, but I’m very accepting…My husband always reminds me to keep the core intact, because that’s what matters. I just think I have to appreciate every day, every opportunity, work hard, and continue to evolve as an artist.

Katy On Refusing To Sell Wedding Photos: “The press is just not your friend when it comes to marriage. That’s why we didn’t sell the pictures of our wedding, and we got offered millions of dollars for them, millions. It’s the wrong kind of attention. It detracts from the reason why you exist. We wanted that moment to ourselves.”

Perry On Her Career: “My career is like an artichoke. People might think that the leaves are tasty and buttered up and delicious, and they don’t even know that there’s something magical hidden at the base of it. I think that eventually, [with me], you’ll see more layers. There’s a whole other side that people didn’t know existed.”

On Google: “I’m four months Google-free. I don’t Google myself any more. That was my New Year’s resolution. I don’t read papers. I don’t even look at reviews. I have a good team around me so if anything pops up that’s really good or bad I’ll know about it. Generally I feel much better being able to live my life like a normal person and not read yesterday’s news.”

Cameron Diaz Covers Elle UK & Maxim Hot 100 Issue 2011

Bad Teacher’s Cameron Diaz pulls double cover duty appearances on the June 2011 editions of Elle Magazine UK and Maxim, which placed the lovely and leggy thirtysomething on its annual Hot 100 ranking of the world’s most beautiful women.

“I think we have to make our own rules,” the 38-year-old told the men’s mag when quizzed for her thoughts on marriage. “I don’t think we should live our lives in relationships based off old traditions that don’t suit our world any longer.”

She added: “I love men more than anything. I want all men to be happy and have rad women in their lives. But guys need women who challenge them and don’t let them get away with their shit. Women, conversely, need to not be crazy bitches who blow up when their guys tell them something that scares them.”

Of her romance with Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, Cammy was noticably less candid: “It’s really awesome. I love baseball!”

Other notable names on this year’s Hot 100, released Tuesday, include Victoria’s Secret supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Perfect Couples beauty Olivia Munn (#2), “California Gurl” Katy Perry (#3), lovely and leggy Cameron Diaz (#4), Black Swan star Mila Kunis (#5), Natalie Portman (#8), Sean Penn’s side piece Scarlett Johansson (#14), 2009′s Hot 100 winner Olivia Wilde (#16), former “Transformers” siren Megan Fox (#17), and pop princess Britney Spears (#25), Charlie’s Angel for the New Age Minka Kelly (#52), Miley Cyrus (#65), Harry Potter Emma Watson (#69), femcee Nicki Minaj (#75) and Erin Andrews (#91).

The list also included a dash of royalty – Prince William’s new bride, Kate Middleton, came in at 26th place.

Mariah Carey Welcomes Twins With Hubby Nick Cannon

Mariah Carey Welcomes Twins

Just in case you haven’t heard, The Carey-Cannon Buns have come out of the oven. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary Saturday (Has it been that long already?!) by becoming parents to a baby girl and boy today. The stiletto-lovin’ songbird a new mom just in time for Mothers’ Day.

Guess that means we’ve seen our last topless “Nick and Mariah Posin’ Nude with Belly Bump” magazine cover?

Carey, 41, delivered the healthy tots at 12:07 PM EDT at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles, the star’s longtime rep, Cindi Berger, told The Associated Press. Nick and Mariah’s baby girl was reportedly born first, weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 18 inches long; while her brother was next, at 5 pounds 6 ounces, and was 19 inches.

Berger said the couple was calm while en route to the hospital in their Rolls-Royce Phantom, as they believed Mariah’s labor pains were a false alarm. But the contractions proved to be the real deal, Nick, 30, was reportedly so nervous he had to be guided to the maternity ward by a nurse after he went to the wrong department.

So much for keeping your cool!

“Nick was very nervous and Mariah was completely calm. Mariah thought it was another soft labor and Nick was driving her to the hospital and she very calm and the music was blasting. When they walked into the hospital, [Nick] was going the wrong way and they nurse redirected them to go the maternity ward, and I said to her, ‘that’s right out of I Love Lucy,’ and she laughed,’” Berger told The AP.

Berger added that the new parents fittingly played Carey’s hit song “We Belong Together” shortly after the twins’ arrival.

Evan Rachel Wood May issue of Esquire Magazine

Evan Rachel Wood
Evan Rachel Wood likes to be thought of as a dark, rebellious mystery, but the former child star lifts the lid a little in an interview with the May issue of Esquire Magazine. Evan, 23, talks about her nine tattoos, dating Marilyn Manson, and reveals that she is bisexual. Yep, you heard right. The Wrestler actress says she’s happy to date either a man or a woman.

Wood is the second True Blood actress to cop to batting for both teams; series star Anna Paquin came out in a 2010 public service announcement touting marriage equality. When it comes to dating women, Wood unleashes her inner North Carolina gentleman. She opens doors, pulls out chairs, and even picks up the tab at dinner.Evan Rachel Wood

“Yeah, I’m more kind of like the guy when it comes to girls. I’m the dominant one. I’m opening the doors, I’m buying dinner. Yeah, I’m romantic,” says Evan, who plays the Vampire Queen of Louisiana on the bloodsucking HBO series.Evan Rachel Wood

“Glee’s” Darren Criss Covers Billboard Magazine

To tide you over until the next episode of Glee (Counting the days already, eh?) we give you Darren Criss on the cover of the latest issue of Billboard Magazine, hitting newsstands nationwide Monday.

Posing for one seriously hot photo shoot and opening up in an exclusive interview, Criss, who plays Kurt’s boyfriend Blaine on the award-winning musical-comedy, chats up his career influences, the upcoming Glee summer concert tour, and three tracks from the show’s new album. Glee: The Music Presents The Warblers arrives everywhere music is sold on April 19, and to celebrate the release, Criss discusses how “Misery,” “Candles,” and “Raise Your Glass” (our fave) came to life on Glee.

Speaking of his love for musical theatre, Darren revealed that Disney was pretty much the reason for his decision to jump head-first into the performing industry.

“I remember seeing people’s reactions to Aladdin and thinking ‘Oh man, I want to be a genie when I grow up.’ I was like, ‘I want to do whatever that guy does. What does he do, Mum? He’s an actor? Okay, I want to do that.’”

Darren About Possibly Releasing a Solo Album with Sony Music: “We’re working on it—we’re really excited and it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I’m so thrilled that it’s something that can happen because of Glee, and like the Warblers album I hope I can do it justice and make it something that people can really enjoy.”

Getting Prepared for the Glee Summer Tour: “A year ago, I was so psyched that my first show in L.A. was at the Troubadour. Talk about so much for baby steps. It’s like, ‘Wait—Staples Center, are you kidding me?’ I was happy to drive around in a beat-up, crappy old van with my bandmates and just go to small clubs around the country.”

Adele Rolling Stone Magazine Cover “I Love Katy Perry’s Boobs!”

Adele Rolling Stone Magazine Cover

Katy Perry’s bust may have been too hot for Sesame Street, but the “California Gurl’s” infamous rack has become the object of affection for British songbird Adele.

Adele continues her quest for world domination in an interview with Rolling Stone’s April 15 “Best of Rock 2011″ issue. During the chat, the anything-but-bashful Adele confessed that she really likes seeing “Katy Perry’s boobs and bum.”

“I love seeing Lady Gaga’s boobs and bum and I love seeing Katy Perry’s boobs and bum. Love it. But that’s not what my music is about. I don’t make music for eyes. I make music for ears.”

The “Rolling In The Deep” singer insisted that any pop stars who flaunt their bodies should be applauded — but she’ll never become one of them. Adele also says that she is happy with her plus-sized figure because she doesn’t “like going to the gym.”

“Even if I had a really good figure, I don’t think I’d get my tits and ass out for no one.”

Adele On Stage Fright: “I’m scared of audiences…One show in Amsterdam, I was so nervous I escaped out the fire exit. I’ve thrown up a couple of times. Once in Brussels, I projectile-vomited on someone,” she continued. “I just gotta bear it. But I don’t like touring. I have anxiety attacks a lot.”

On Meeting Her Idol Beyonce: “I was about to meet BeyoncĂ© and I had a full-blown anxiety attack. Then she popped in looking gorgeous, and said, ‘You’re amazing! When I listen to you I feel like I’m listening to God.’ Can you believe she said that? I went out on the balcony crying hysterically, and I said, ‘What would Sasha Fierce do?’ That’s when Sasha Carter [a blend of Sasha Fierce and June Carter] was born.”

On Her Estranged Father Mike Evans, Who Recently Sold A Tell-All Interview On Adele To Britain’s The Sun: “I never knew my dad. He has no fuckin’ right to talk about me.”

Jennifer Lopez is Happiest at Home

Jennifer Lopez – People Magazine Cover
The American Idol judge has recently admitted that she is the happiest when she is at home with her family and not under the scrutinizing eye of the make-up artists that get Jennifer Lopez ready to play her role as dream destroyer on American Idol. This is what Jennifer Lopez said on the matter: “Just being able to touch my face and rub my eyes and put my fingers in my hair and not having to worry about messing it up. It’s so much better.” One must wonder if it would be such a bad and horrifying thing if Jennifer Lopez were to appear on American Idol without any make-up and just be natural… sort of a special episode, if you will. Maybe the producers will actually look into that, after all, those ratings aren’t going to keep themselves up too easily.

Robert Pattinson Elle Magazine May 2011 There’s A Lot To Be Said For Older Women

Good news for TwiHards over 40: Hollywood hunk Robert Pattinson is apparently “obsessed” with older women.

Sure, he’s often rumored to be sharing more than hugs and giggles with his 20-year-old onscreen love interest, Kristen Stewart, but Robert has quite an affinity for women of a certain age.

“I was always obsessed with Kate Moss. On my bedroom wall I had a poster of Linda Blair and Kate,” Robert said tells the May 2011 issue of Elle Magazine.

Okay, so a supermodel and a Hollywood movie star. Sure, we can understand that.

Anyone else make the crush list R-Pattz? How about a pair of sexy seventysomethings?

“I always liked Jane Fonda. [And] Ellen Burstyn.”

Pattinson On The Paparazzi: “You know, when the whole thing dries up and there’s hardly any paparazzi around—I don’t know, in 15 years or something—I like the idea of just one paparazzo coming out and trying to get a picture, and I just beat the shit out of him. I mean—out of nowhere—when my picture’s not even worth…and I’ve spent all my money, so you can’t sue me!”

On What Embarrasses Him: “I guess if you’re constantly in public, you’re not embarrassed about anything. But dancing is my Achilles’ heel—I don’t even try. It’s like, ‘Come on, dance!’ ‘No, I’m not getting up!’ I can freestyle by myself with no one watching. I’m a great dancer then.”
